          "happy independence day" for men atleast. women seriously have no freedom. it's 2024 i'm still seeing women being beaten, sa'd, being compared to men and what not. they preach about 'nari shakti' (women power) and pray goddesses but about women? girls? what about them? it has happened again, almost twelve years apart but it still happened, the only difference that it has happened in one of the unsafe cities and in of the safest cities. again the brutality, again society blaming the victim, again national wide protests, again apathetic reactions from the state government, and for how many days? how many years till we see again this kind of a incident happen in another state? when are men going to learn the basic manners of respecting women and not see them as lustful creatures? what the fuck did we even do? when our government is going to implement strictest and brutal punishment on offenders? why our government is so obsessed in protecting the offenders? if there is no fear created in the minds of these kind of sick, perverted people, then there is no hope for the upcoming future. upcoming future is going to have lots of developments, but what about the development of mindset of people?
