            some of my tips!
            - i am able to update so often because i started writing/editing before release date, (for heavenly bodies i started in january, and posted in march) and have been at a state where i am always a few chapters ahead of the posted one, (if i didnt do this then we would be waiting 1-2 weeks or more between updates), and this also helps motivation due to not feeling behind/stressed i find
            
            - i always try to plan out the entire book before writing so i know what is going on (even if you do a loose plan), this gives me scenes to look foward to when writing which increases motivation as i often try to get to them faster, but also creating stories that you actually enjoy keeps u motivated 
             
            - when it comes to creating a chapter plan i stay motivated as well by really only trying to keep things action packed where i can, which exites me more to write
            
            - when i actually write a chapter i dont always/ often do it linear, i have everything broken into scenes and often just write what i am most looking forward to first, then fill in the rest later
            
            - if it feels like there is nothing coming out, sometimes i like to just write the most basic parts then fill in with more descriptives later, or just dump out all the dialouge i want and then fill tags later. you could also use voice to text and just say what you are thinking/edit later
            
            now in saying all of that, there are days where i am not motivated or tired and i will always just let myself rest so i dont grow a resentment towards writing. another thing to note is that i am medicated for adhd, so i often do all my work medicated and am able to sit for longer periods of time working without distractions and can often write a lot in one sitting if properly focussed. i also don't go to school (i am in uni), so i have much more time than highschoolers to write which is also helpful!

high school level but i’m really interested in pursuing it at uni 

if university level it is a BIG commitment year wise, and first year i found myself in the same position and was wanting to switch to paramedics but i stuck with it and the content got better as i went, (except statistics). you really don’t get into like all the good content about mental disorders till later years and more in-depth as well, so just stick with it for a bit longer and make a choice. 
            
            if highschool then it’s probably more neurological related and we only ever did one unit on that so far in my 2 years so if you pursue further you may not have to worry about all the biological stuff, i didn’t actually do psych in highschool but i know my friends said it was kinda hard and the uni version is much more streamlined
