            Kenobi returned the squeeze, giving her a knowing glance. As if he knew what they were both feeling at the moment, and recognized it. The Jedi ducked his head with a heavy sigh, “My apologies, I had to make sure that everyone thought I was…I should have come sooner.” He nodded as he glanced around them. “More than we have time for. Tell me though…how are you fairing?” Concern was evident on the older man’s face. 

@-lostsabers-     &&.      with  all  the  emotions  that  came  with  seeing  him  again,  knowing  he  was  alive,   had  he  reached  for  that  hug  . .   she  wouldn’t  have  been  able  to  get  a  grip.    and  that  probably  wasn’t  a  scene  she  wanted  to  have  in  a  somewhat  public  area.     she  reached  out  her  hand  as  well,  to  shake  his—  giving  it  the  lightest  of  squeezes.   “  i  would’ve  reached  out  to  you  if  i… ”   if  i  knew  you  were  alive.    she  didn’t  say  it,  it  didn’t  need  to  be  said.    “  i  suppose  we  have  much  to  catch  up  on.   ”

            It took everything in the Jedi to not at least reach out for a hug, but he remained back, stoic. He was just relieved to see her alive. “I came because of a…friend you could say.” He responded with a smile, reaching out his hand to her for her to shake. “But when I heard the rumors…I couldn’t help myself…especially now that I know it was you.” His eyes glanced her up and down, unharmed at least…that was all he could ask for.

(    face  hardened  by  irritation,    anakin  closed  his  eyes  and  exhaled,    willing  himself  to  calm  down.    ahsoka  was  not  the  causation  for  his  anger  and  did  not  deserve  to  be  the  one  to  deal  with  it.    after  a  few  moments  of  exhaling  and  listening  to  his  padawan’s  words,    he  opened  his  eyes  back  up  and  turned  to  her.    always  surprising  him  with  her  maturity  and  it  was  moments  like  these  that  made  him  great fun.    )    i..    suppose  you’re  right  about  that.    funny.    it  seems  you’re  wiser  than  the  both  of  us  sometimes.
