I wish Wattpad made it possible for writers to choose if they want ads popping up every few chapters, or i wish the money from viewing those ads went to the writers of that specific work. it’s so annoying to get so many ads whilst reading, to the point that I don’t read on here anymore. if i was supporting the writers themselves i wouldn’t mind but aaaaa so dumb

tbh i just turn off my wifi and data and i get no ads but then you can’t read comments so it’s kind of a win some you lose some situation

those little permanent ads on the bottom of the screen make my blood boil. it’s made my urge to read so much lower and in turn made my motivation for writing basically nonexistent

hello all, little update/apology. when I was young and picked Victoria Justice as a face claim, I didn’t look into her at all. I didn’t know she was POC until recently, and know that it’s not right to use her as the face of a white character. i meant no harm when using her, but I’ll stop now that I am informed. I apologize to anyone who was upset or annoyed by it all.
          
          this all being said, I’ll no longer have a proper face claim for Blair. I don’t think having one for her is all that important as it’s obvious that Blair is Elena’s fraternal twin, meaning they look alike. you are all welcome to imagine whomever you like as Blair while reading the books. i will be removing the current covers, and all edits within the stories that have Vic on them soon.
          
          I’m not sure what my plan is for tiktok edits of isolation/blair. i may stop editing her, or maybe I’ll use Nina in those situations. im open to ideas for other face claims to use strictly in tiktok edits if anyone has some!
          
          I will hopefully have more chapters up soon for Isolation, sorry for the lack of updates! again, I apologize for using Victoria without any knowledge, and hope you all can enjoy the books otherwise. good day, ashelina <3

            Lily Collins looks similar to Nina Dobrev
            Emanuelle Chiqrui also looks a lot like Nina but I don’t think she has enough content for edits, idk if she’s white
            Maia Mitchell could also be a good face claim
