@neeklausm YES YES YES. I don't know how more people didn't question this from the get go of TO. It was just so wrong. If the director was looking for tension she missed the mark. Hayley and Elijah were cringe.

Why don’t I see any vampires who fought for the union?? Jasper, Damon, Bill that’s three different pieces of media involving vampires and they were all confederates!

Ik shits weird it’s like racism and prejudices are built into vampire nature by the person in control of the shows and or books. In twilight the when you turn and are a POC it bleaches your skin. In tvd we barely see any black vampire and I only remember Harper the slave vampire that got killed and Beatrice. They only depict POC’s as animals or shifters like twilight they did it for the Native American tribe making them to be savages.

I hate when a fanfic has an interesting idea or premise I’m excited to read and it has 5-10 chapters with most of them being that beginning stuff; summary, cast, mood boards, epigraphs, etc. the story is incomplete so I have to wait who knows how long or it may be abandoned (insert distressed emoji)
