Neil Austin left school early to paint houses. He learned to write by reading great writers. 

From the cool fringe of the inner city to the endless outback, Neil has lived many lives. Meditation, yoga, martial arts, addiction, recovery, Buddhism, feminism, socialism (democracy with a social conscience) ... it's all grist for the mill.

Neil began a serial tale on Facebook, posting episodes as he went. That story found some dedicated fans and with their encouragement he turned it into his first book - KALA BEAR WARS : A New Mythology.  

Neil also writes short stories and is working on a new novel.
