@pinkbutterflykisses the books you speak of. I don't like reading books that aren't finish or part of a series that is not yet completed. Because I read a lot of books, to get the true experience of the work I need to read it in its entirety,  if not it is lost. which makes me have to start at the beginning because I forgot most of it. To stop that from happening, I just only read finished work.
