controversial opinion time!
santos was right to not forgive Langdon. He could have taken her aside and said those things to her, been the teacher he was supposed to be, but no, he didn’t want to teach, he wanted to humiliate. He chose to belittle her in front of a bunch of people.
I get that 10 months passed between seasons, but I’m sure seeing him brought it all back and probably knocked her off track. It’s easy for viewers to judge but just because he had gotten clean, it doesn’t mean he’s just OWED forgiveness, which even he seems to understand. So why can’t the viewers?
this is the only show that proves so clearly that people lack basic empathy and media literacy.

@nellcrains SAY IT LOUDER!! Santos is my fav character, but I absolutely hate when people say she should forgive him since he apologized…um no she doesn’t. He should have been teaching instead of humiliating her in front of their co-workers

!!!! 100% agree. They hate Santos because the way she approaches her work, and yes there are many things she should fix, but the whole show points out there will never be a perfect doctor. So anyone dragging her for her flaws will automatically be invalid because they’ll defend the men on the show whose work approach is much worse than hers sometimes.
I love Santos so much and yes there is so much for her to work on, but the way people knock her down for feeling that way towards Langdon pisses me off. The viewers love to coddle men characters and they will do it easily when they see an easy way to defend; he was stealing drugs from patients and the hospital therefore becoming an addict. Langdon understands his situation completely and that he benefited from it due to being Robby’s favorite, yet the viewers do not like to acknowledge his privilege.
