It is one of them. In the north of Belgium, people talk Flemish (which is a Dutch language, it's like the equivalent of American English en British English; the same language, but some different words and a different accent). In the south, people talk French, and a tiny minority in the south-east of Belgium talk German. In the capital (Brussels) people talk French and Flemish. So there are 3 official languages (although the most people talk either French or Flemish - or both). And it's okay, it's never too late to learn something new .
