|| headcanon time: stefania was a sloppy killer at first. she would leave bloody bootprints, fingerprints, little bits of evidence that could have led to her captured. however, the serial killer who turned her mentored her from prison. she would often go visit him under disguises. the disguises? alias derived from people she actually would meet in coffeeshops or on the street, just so when the name was checked, it would provide a confusing clue trail, sort of like a decoy. eventually, her mentor mysteriously escaped prison && stefania took over as lead investigator, but surprise surprise, she never recaptured him. he lives in a cabin in the forest, cliché enough && stefania regularly visits him for advice & tips on how to improve her kills & her hiding skills. he mentors her & in return, she ensures his freedom. a sort of toxic relationship, if you will.
