@Grussellsprout1663 i forgot to actually respond to this but omg thank you so much for this. Your insight is actually so useful and I didnt even consider many of these things before. I actually keep coming back to reread it cuz yk the insecurity and doubt keeps creeping back but this makes me feel so relieved to know. i've been thinking recently about the lifestyle too cuz ive honestly never considered how stressful it would be anyways and im rethinking everything lol. best of luck at your new college! <3

Another thing you REALLY need to consider & I cant stress this enough: pick what feels like home to YOU. That was another big mistake I made. By picking prestigious I picked place that didnt feel like home. I picked a place I hoped would have people saying "omg you went there." But as ive previously stated im not happy here. The school im transferring too I felt so connected with that when I originally toured I was literally crying happy tears bc I finally got to visit. Not going there originally is something I heavily regret. 
            
            Another thing, as stated by Swiftieboygenius, you can always transfer ! Sometimes its way cheaper to do 2 years community college 2 years university. Its what I did ! I saved so much money & was able to save up so much money that im not taking out many loans to pay for schools which im very thankful for. 
            
            One last thing: please don't fixate on one place. Look at as many places as possible. Also please dont look in state only, the school for you could be out of state ! For me im from Florida but the school im going too now is in Pennsylvania. The one im transferring too is in Louisiana. I know out of state can be scary cause of price & being away from home. But its so worth it ! You get a whole new experience & get to learn how to be an adult. Its so amazing !!
