every once in awhile i’ll come back to wattpad just to see what’s going on and reread some fics that i’ve loved in the past for nostalgia reasons. i joined wattpad only about 4.5 years ago but it feels like a lifetime ago. it’s super interesting seeing how much i’ve grown in the past few years and seeing it documented on here, it’s real cringe worthy but also endearing. i joined wattpad when i was 12 because i was curious about this “septiplier” ship everyone kept raving about; i was then sucked in to the world of fanfiction and i haven’t left (my tastes have developed and changed but i’m still a sucker for love). now i’m here, 17 and just started my senior year of high school, making tactile plans for my future and looking back at all of these memories. some wonderful, some awful, but memories nonetheless. 
          
          thank you to all the wonderful people on here and thank you wattpad developers for making this app.
          
          but also fuck you for putting ads everywhere and not making all the content free.
          
          i’ll be back in a few months to revisit.
