Hello to all my readers,
I want to share something important with you today. I’ve decided to pause my book Virtual Hearts, Real Scars for an indefinite time.
This story was never just fiction. It was my truth. I began writing it not to become a writer, not for views, not for fame but simply as a way to express what I had lived through. Vihaan and Anaya are only names on paper, but behind them were me and the girl I loved.
Up to Chapter 5, everything you read actually happened. After that, Chapters 6 to 14 became the version of the story I wished for the ending I dreamt of but never got in reality. Writing was the only way I could give myself that closure.
I never promoted this book on social media, never told my friends, never sought recognition. I kept it quiet, because it wasn’t about the world knowing. It was about one hope that maybe, somehow, she would stumble upon it, read it, and maybe there would be a chance of us finding each other again.
But life has its own way of answering. Our story ended in silence, and slowly I’ve realized that some things don’t return, no matter how tightly you hold on. The light I once clung to is fading, and I have to accept that.
Even today, I could give you ten reasons why she was wrong in ending things. But my love for her has always stopped me from blaming her. Respect for what we shared mattered more than pointing out mistakes.
So, I want to thank each of you who read Virtual Hearts, Real Scars. It meant everything to me. Every single reader gave my words a place to live outside of me, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
This isn’t the end of my writing, though. I’m working on a new book this time, something lighter, something that follows Wattpad’s trend. I’ll announce it soon, and I hope you’ll walk with me on that new journey too.
Thank you for reading not just a story, but a piece of my heart.
With gratitude,
Nexosmind
