Jacqueline "Jack" Barnes is a young seventeen years old young adult who survived on tough times on her own since she was a little girl. Because of this, Jack was taught how to be tough and strong, she was sent to live with a family friend by the singer family, Robert "Bobby" and his wife Clarissa "Claire" Singer and there own children; Victoria "Vicki" Singer, Nathaniel "Nathan" Singer, Abigail "Abby" Singer and Christian "Chris" Singer. They act like they are her family while her father and brothers traveled the world after loosing their wife/mother Mary after giving birth to Jack and out of anger and grief John gave Jack his parental rights to his friend Bobby for him and Claire to raise and John and her brothers were off traveling doing god knows what. The Singer couple adopted Jack and so she became Jacqueline "Jack" Singer as she got rid of her biological last name. At the age of seventeen, Jac gets a job working at a record label as a receptionist and while working there she meets the band Sweet Children and becomes friends with the band Billie, Mike and Jason but develops a deeper friendship with the band's lead singer Billie Joe.
