@ _yerina It’s honestly wild how much has been assumed about my intent based on one emotional comment. People keep acting like I barged in to attack the author, when in reality I was just disappointed over the ship dynamic .. something that’s completely normal in fandom spaces. And for the record, I had already asked this same author for top!Karina fic recommendations on another one of their stories. That part gets conveniently ignored, I guess.
I didn’t insult the story. I didn’t demand changes. I shared a personal reaction, dramatically, yes — but that’s part of what being in a fandom is. Not every comment has to be wrapped in sugar to be valid. If that bothers people more than it should, that’s not really my problem.
Anyway, I’ll go ‘live my life’ now ...clearly I’ve caused enough emotional damage with one sentence.
