The next chapter of The Hot Spring Episode is going to be a few days late. Sorry!

I don't like putting extensive author notes in the middle of the story because I think they can be a little distracting, so I'm gonna ramble about The Hot Spring Episode chapter 9 here lol. 
          
          Firstly, the images for the battle sequences: I know they're really bare-bones. I know. I'm sorry. I had something more ambitious in mind but I didn't do them ahead of time and then suddenly it was now. So I just... screenshotted AO3, where I'd already done the CSS formatting ahead of time. The AO3 version is somewhat prettier, by the way, since it adapts to your screen size (thank you AO3 for having custom coding...). Images can't really do that. "You could've just done text saying the character names before the rap lines like a chatfic" I KNOW I COULD'VE BUT I wanted it to be the most intuitive and least obtrusive way of representing battles it could be, reminiscent of the feeling of listening to the drama tracks. So using colors to represent the characters was what I landed on.

This also has the unfortunate side-effect of making Samatoki's border invisible on a white background (and hence my screenshots), ARGH
          
          Also if you think my raps are bad lol me too but we must risk being cringeworthy if we are ever to try new things and grow as people. To never be cringe is to never grow

Hi all! Just wanted to say that the chapter added to my one-shot collection today, "One-sided, Two-sided," will be the last one I post in a little while!           I'm currently working on a longer, multi-chapter hypmic story! I'm pre-writing the whole thing (mostly), so once I finish it, chapters will be uploaded regularly both here and on AO3. If you like my one-shots, then you'll like this fic. I'm hoping to have the first chapter up within the next month or so, but I've also started back to school, so that's taking up most of my time right now.
