It has been 2 years since I last wrote.

I was surprised when I came back and still saw 100 Years trending in the hashtags even after so long. I never expected that people would still read my work when I haven't updated it for so long.

I finished writing Chapter 5 two years ago, but never got to publishing it. It isn't much, but today I would be releasing it. I don't see myself updating anytime soon as I currently just started my diploma, and even if I were to continue writing, I need time to get back into the flow of momentum.

Thank you for your unwavering support for me and my works. I hope to see you soon.

Hey, just came back from my mid-year exams. I haven't been checking Wattpad often (so much that I did not realise that the submission for Wattys have opened for a month!). Chapter 4 of 100 Years would be released immediately after this announcement, I'm sorry it took so long. I reckon the next update would be even longer, possibly only on October/November, because life is getting increasingly hectic.

I would not be entering Wattys because I am unable to meet the criteria (my current word is probably around 6000+ words, not counting Chapter 4). As much as I would like to enter, however, I would not want to rush on writing, and I am a firm believer of quality over quantity. So...guess we'll have to see the next few years instead.

Once again, thank you for every read, vote and comment on my stories. Your support is what keeps me going :)

Hi there, Chapter 3 of 100 Years will be up in a few minutes' time, and after this I'm probably going to disappear into oblivion again. Life is getting really really hectic now, I can barely find any time to write.

I thought of starting a mini project on the chapters I publish, where I would dedicate every chapter that I post to each and every one of my followers. I would say that this is my way for thanking you guys for the support :)

As always, feel free to drop in a comment on how I can improve my writing, and vote/share if you liked my story, and I thank you for spending the time to read my work :D

Hey, so I popped into Wattpad because I had a bit of time, and I saw this very surprise that happened in the time when I was inactive.

          100 Years - Ranked #1 in the tag 1917

I know this isn't much, and only 28 stories are in the list, but still, I cannot be more grateful for the support. And this is only the first chapter of the story. All of this couldn't have been achieved with every read and vote you readers have put into the story, I cannot thank all of you enough for that.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide you all with regular updates, but for the sake of all of you, I would do my best to continue writing chapters worth of your time to read. Chapter 2 of 100 Years will be released soon after I do a final reviewing of the chapter :)

Once again, thank you for all your support.

Hi, I’m really really sorry for disappearing all of a sudden, and I think I might disappear from Wattpad again after this announcement. First chapter of 100 Years is up now, sorry for the wait.

I know that the deadline for ONCII is long over, but I still want to write the story (if I have the time). It wouldn’t be a very long story, but still it would take time for me to get started on anything. School has started and I’m anticipating a really busy life ahead.

Once again, I’m sorry. I’ll be back.

I posted this on my twitter page before, but I would like to repost this on here.

There is a fine line between general fiction and historical fiction.

General fiction stories are of a totally free concept, an idea that is not bounded for creativity. Historical fiction is fiction but with a perimeter of time and history. Extensive research has to be done to write historical fiction books. They have to follow the historical timeline. They have to follow the existing traits and facts of an existing historical figure.

So why are people lumping general fiction and historical fiction together? Why are there people still thinking that general fiction and historical fiction are just "the same 'boring' stuff"? Historical fiction is not so easy to write as people perceive, and are, in my opinion, one of the hardest genres to write.

I just want to debunk what everyone thinks of historical fiction. You do not have to agree with me, but please, please do not undercredit historical fiction writers. Historical fiction does not equal to general fiction.
