@jgjluou but thank you so much for still giving a shit about aradia’s story!! bahahahah if i ever manage to successfully write a whole new series and get it published, i’ll still be using aradia’s name so… who knows? maybe you’ll recognize it one day and figure out what i had planned for this book ; )
@jgjluou hey! honestly, i don’t think i’ll update again. i had such great ideas for checkmate that barely had anything to do with either hp or pjo so i’ve been trying lately to take all of my great plot points that i planned for it and apply them to a new original story.

Checkmate just hit 100k!! I’m in complete disbelief and just so grateful that people enjoy it ❤️❤️ thank you to everyone who read my book and supported me through the past 1 1/2 years since i first posted it (I can’t believe it’s even been that long)
For anyone curious if I’m still continuing it, truth is that I’m not 100% sure. Here’s the thing… I kinda started over and rewrote the whole story
Part of why I stopped writing it was cuz there were just so many things I wanted to change. So many better ideas — funnier moments, bigger plots, deeper characters — but i felt obligated to continue with what I’d written already because it was already posted, which kinda took the fun out of it. but since then, just writing for myself here and there, i find myself wanting to work on it so much more often :)
however, i don’t want to start posting the chapters on here until i’ve written at least half of the series so that i won’t be so stressed about updates. but it’s a BIG series, so that’s why i’m not 100% certain i’ll end up posting again, or at least not anytime soon…
either way, it’s been a great experience to post checkmate and read all the comments that keep coming in. it’s so encouraging and i feel like i’ve learned a lot about how to tell a story because of it. again, i’m so grateful to everyone and hope y’all have the bestest day EVER! ❤️❤️

I’m doing well… just really busy from school starting again, esp cuz it’s my junior year and i have five APs plus college classes :( anyway, i’m still writing and working on my story from time to time, but i decided to keep the chapters private until i’ve gotten a long way through the story so that i don’t have to stress about posting… not sure if i’ll ever truly finish it just because it’s such a massive story, but i know i have to try just because of all of the awesome ideas i had that i really wanted to include
Checkmate absolutely wrecked me, i started crying in the middle of the night. I can tell that you're a good writer purely because some form of emotion throughout the fic was present ranging from joy to absolute misery. Thanks for bringing Checkmate into the world.

GUYS UNCLE RICK RELEASED THE OFFICIAL NEW CAST FOR PERCY AND ITS THE KID FROM THE ADAM PROJECT!!! HE WAS GREAT IN THAT MOVIE AND HES GONNA BE A PERFECT PERCY (he’s hilarious and can even skateboard and do flips and stuff!!)
also fun fact: i was gonna fancast him for will solace when i watched the adam project but NEVER had i thought he’d be PERCY!!!!
