Johnny Walters is a socially awkward boy who will try anything to get the hottest girl in school, Hannah Gray, to go to prom with him. And so, he devises the perfect plan to become a 'superhero' so Hannah will like him. As his philosophy is that 'chicks dig masks'. So with the help of his best friend, Martin, he gets him to try and steal from McDonald's and become the 'villain' so that Johnny can come in and save the day becoming the 'hero' and hopefully Hannah's main guy. Only problem is the violent girl at the cash register with a weird name and a very strong slap. The video of Johnny being beaten up by a small girl at McDonald's goes viral and he is the laughing stock of the school. Feeling guilty, cash register girl agrees to a ridiculous plan to gain back his manliness and finally run off with Hannah Gray in his arms
