i have a question... would it be haram for me to write and post a percy jackson fanfiction, which would contain mention of the “gods” (astaghfirullah) and the characters believing in them and working for them? i took down my fanfiction because i was afraid of shirk and my religion comes before anything else.

@usuisips yep, i guess it’s much better (and safer!) for me to refrain from writing about “gods”, because even if i don’t believe what i’m writing, i could cause someone else to.

@nightingaleinheaven I don't know for sure, but it's best to avoid it! Stay as far away from Shirk as you can because it's the most severe sin.

i'm no longer on twitter (where all the injustice the media refuses to disclose is exposed), but the Palestine vs. Israel situation hurts my soul. it's nothing short of cruel to attack Palestinians on the 27th night of Ramadan, and on Eid. the last time Gaza was bombed, it was also during Ramadan.
          
          about 200 Palestinians dead, but only 10 Israelis dead. doesn't that say something?
          
          as Muslims, we have to fight for our land and people. all those who died on the 27th night of Ramadan are inshaAllah martyrs. we'd be perfectly willing to co-exist peacefully with the Jewish, as the Prophet PBUH did whenever possible, and as Allah permits us to if they do not harm us... the thing is, the Israelis have harmed, killed, and oppressed Palestine's Muslims, and that's where we must draw the line. it's also important, however, to ensure that we don't condone anti-Semitic hate. hate crime has no place in our religion.
          
          pray for Palestine and pray for peace, and may Allah protect the Palestinians and forgive and reward their dead in the grave.

@BodmonDevonne for sure. it’s also deeply disappointing how the celebrities i looked up to are staying silent — their silence is deafening.

@nightingaleinheaven I understand how you must be feeling right now  It's been a week of paranoia helplessness restlessness, I can't stop thinking about how these innocent kids must be feeling, sleeping in fear  may Allah protect our brothers and sisters in palestine... Much love from Pakistan  ❤️

Guilty as Charged is back up, but i’ve altered the description and rewritten the chapters. chapter 1 is still in the process of being rewritten, but the prologue is now up. 
          
          My other books will remain unpublished for now — i’ll revisit them once i’ve completed the two that are currently up. 
          
          i’m honestly looking back at the descriptions i thought were good snd just thinking... what in the cringe? and to think they were written just under a year ago ^.^
          
          don’t know if the sudden burst of motivation to complete the books i placed on hold is just a result of hypomania or if i’m genuinely motivated... we’ll see!

chapter one is now up! if you keep seeing notifications for updates popping up, it’s because i’ve been revisiting and rereading both chapters out of paranoia and constantly editing certain aspects i don’t feel are perfect. this is just how i roll. XD
            
            chapter two will be up in a day or two ;)
