° He was hunting a vengeful spirit , but during that hunt, he was ambushed by some vampires .
° instead of killing him the leader of the nest decided to have him turned . this leaving him reliant on his maker for blood for a while.
° when he was able to become less reliant he went back to going out on his own . during his time away from the nest, it was attacked by some hunters . fortunately , had left in time .
° lucas goes back to what he was doing beforehand , but mainly hunts at night now . makes sure to hide what he truly is when around others . mainly works alone though , easier to hide the abilities.
° takes blood from criminals and animals .
