          (  as  the  nord  played,  terph  hummed  along  with  the  tune.  he  had  grown  quite  fond  of  it  in  the  past  months.  perhaps  it  had  been   the  people  playing  it  before  that  made  him  dislike  it.  he  quite  liked  the  way  this  one  played  it,  with  a  hint  of  nervousness  in  the  way  they  strummed  the  strings,  and  the  almost  unnoticeable  shake  in  their  voice.  it  gave  the  tune  another  sort  of  feel  to  it,  though  terph  couldn't  name  it.  he  watched  slender  fingers  fall  over  the  strings,  then  brought  his  gaze  upward,  catching  the  other's  eyes,  holding  contact  as  he  smirked.  )   oh,  you're  quite  the  professional,  aren't  you?  i  like  you,  i  do.

          (  a  hum  escapes  past  his  lips  as  he  studies  the  other,  finger  tapping  at  his  chin  as  he  thought.  he  kept  his  eyes  on  the  other,  taking  in  their  features -  very  clearly  nord,  but  with  a  stature  smaller  than  what  was  common  for  his  race.  perhaps  a  halfing?  terph  had  all  sorts  of  questions  for  the  other,  having  piqued  his  curiosity.  and  there  was  something  else  about  him  that  he  couldn't  quite  put  his  finger  on.  perhaps  terph  would  follow  him  around  more  to  find  out  what  that  was.  )   hmmm..  sing  me  'the  dragonborn  comes'.  oh,  i  do  so  love  that  one.
