This book caught my attention from the very first chapter, but discovering that almost every chapter is told exclusively from Lily’s POV was honestly very disappointing.

Williams is such an important and fascinating character, yet we never get the chance to see events through her eyes or understand what she’s thinking and feeling. Personally, staying in a single POV for so long made the reading experience feel frustrating rather than more engaging, especially because I was genuinely excited to see Williams’ side of the story.

To be honest, this is the main reason I’m considering not continuing the book. I was looking forward to getting to know both characters, not just one of them.

I love it this way way more. I never liked when the POV would change each chapter.

Nah, the book being written mostly by lily's pov is literally the best, but each to their own.

I agree to some extent. I understand that the story is meant to be a slow burn, but 31 chapters from a single POV is a lot, and I don’t think that’s just a personal preference. When one of the main characters is as important as Williams, it’s natural for readers to want to see her perspective much earlier.
