Ello! Thanks for the follow. Short film idea huh? Might be cool to do a retelling of a grimm fairytale set modern day. Or near future science fiction is fun, like a film about some new invention that sends society to hell, like maybe a cell restorative that makes everyone immortal so ppl start killing each other due to overpopulation. Hope this is helpful. ;)

Thats all right. You just need to think of creative ways to convey things without special effects. Like near future sci fi just strip a room down to a very minimalist decor and do some dramatic lighting. Maybe there are cleaner ways to kill people in the future, like a wand that delivers an electric zap that stops a persons heart. Or with the grimm fairytale idea, you can just take a fairytale plot and set it in an office or at someones house.
