here are my thoughts on it:
- disco!!! idk what I expected bc it’s literally the name of the album but it makes me really excited for the rest of the songs
- I’m a huge fan of electro/synth music so I love the new direction he’s going in, and I love that he’s trying new things. I can see why it’s not the best for some ppl but for me I loveeeee
- also it’s definitely a more mature sound, the style suits him well I think
- his voice TT hearing him after years was so special
- when I first heard it I couldn’t tell what he was saying at all- is that just me-
- hearing we belong together was so ahhhhhh
- the only thing I don’t like is that it’s out of my range so I can’t sing it TT
- i love the vibes sm but I don’t understand yet the meaning of the song, if you have thoughts lmk!
10/10 song overall, maybe when i hear the rest of them ill post my thoughts on each one but lmk if i should :)
one of my favorite things about Harry is that with every album, you never know what you’re going to get. the only thing you can expect is a completely new and different vibe, and I love how he experiments with so many styles and isn’t afraid to be trying new things. He knows that not everyone will like this music bc it’s different, but he makes it anyway because he’s making music as art for him, not just for us. he’s making music bc he wants to, not because we want it, and I think that’s what makes his music so good. it’s made to be art, not to be popular or well liked, but when art comes from a place of genuine creativity and desire to create like this it’s often quite good. also shoutout to kid harpoon, this song was very well produced.
I’m honestly relieved that I like it sm bc I was worried I wouldn’t since it gets such mixed reviews, but I’m already a fan of this style of music so that’s lucky :P
(the beat reminds me a bit of circuit static/dark beach vibes)
also I love a good five minute song (looking at you louis with your two minute bangers)
