@Layalineee well I think it’s great. A good literary device should always spark controversial debates. I have no idea what you’re talking about but as an author(professional or just starting), one of the most required skills is ability to take criticism. Readers aren’t gonna be nice all the time or constructive all the time(is not even in some people’s nature to be diplomatic), so you have to be ready for it. Don’t put yourself(in this case, your work) out there if you only wanna hear nice stuff. Honestly breeds improvement. If people are saying a work is shitty, you can take the hint to work it out to be better. Wattpad is such a bubble. I’ve seen horrible authors here have millions of reads and good ones have a few thousands. It goes to show that the taste here is so accommodating and really not high. If these same people complain about your work, it really must be bad. Thats just my two cents.
