          but first off, the author's note for BITTER LEMONADE is out! draft 2 plans, thoughts, feelings, backstory, gratitude, my general yapping and me being sappy, it's all in here and waiting for those who finish reading <3

          now, for the actual monthly update and may plans, as i mentioned... sometime recently, now that bl is done, my first priority is finishing bt since that one's the shortest and it'll take the least amount of time to get to the finish line. either when i'm done with the whole first draft OR when i finish all the remaining chapter outlines at least, i'll go back to cotw and pov as well and write a few chapters of those, so the updates for those two will be returning later this month as well
          
          there is also another offline draft (or, well, semi-offline at least) that is also very high on my priority list, and i plan to finish that this month as well. after all of that is done (finishing those two drafts + a bit of cotw and pov backlog), i'll go back to the drawing board for bl and start working on draft 2 outline (which, yes, will be a novel. and it'll be HUGE)
          
          there's also a few more things i'll STILL be working on in the background, but shh... you're not supposed to know about those yet (〜￣▽￣)〜

          nina, you psychotic bastard. you really did it. BITTER LEMONADE IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE!!! AND submitted to round 3 of onc. exactly 2 minutes before the deadline, in fact. if i wrote just a couple more sentences, i literally wouldn't have made it in time. imagine me laughing maniacally in the background
          
          there have been a couple of changes in the meantime, so now there's 19 chapters instead of 20. a pretty unfortunate change for me, but !! i still made it work, and that's all that matters. here's just... everything lol:

          now, what's going on with bl's onc journey, you may ask? oh, it's still on. to everyone who has bl in their library, i am so so sorry. because there's 13 more chapters to go. and 31 hours left. and i'll finish it in time even if it kills me. i'll probably post the chapters in small batches of 2-3 as i write them to avoid spamming *that* much, but still. you have been warned lmao
          
          and now i go pass out from exhaustion so i could rest enough for another all nighter tomorrow. send thoughts and prayers (and unhealthy amounts of coffee and energy drinks)

          turns out, BROKEN THINGS IS ONE OF THE ROUND 2 AMB PICKS??? yes, i am very shocked (especially because of how i've been feeling about it lately). HUGE thanks to whichever amb chose it, i hope both sides of your pillow are always cold and you never ever stub a toe or step on a lego ever <3 congrats to everyone else who made it to the amb pick and/or winner lists!! i'll send a proper round of congratulations tomorrow because i am Tired, but some of those books are so so well deserved 
          
          sadly, i'm afraid this is the end of the onc road for bt ;-; its outline has always been kinda shaky, and i kept changing my mind about the way i wanted to execute certain pivotal points of the story, so with a very limited amount of time left until the end, i would much rather focus on bl instead, which has a much more steady outline and honestly feels easier to write as well. but don't worry, bt isn't going anywhere! it's just taking a teeny tiny break. as soon as bl is done, i'm going back to writing it <3
          
          speaking of bl, check out the new cover that i (finally) made!! yes, THAT took me 2 1/2 months. my graphic design skills are out of this world >.> and again, with this little time left and 15 more chapters to go, be prepared for a LOT of spam updates. we're kicking things into overdrive now
          
          in other news, i spent the last 3 days in ~agony~ because my wisdom tooth is out to get me. debilitating pain that even stops me from thinking at times is the last thing i need right now, but it's becoming slightly more bearable. it's still making me cranky and annoyed all the time, which is arguably *also* not something i need right now. send thoughts and prayers pls, i'll certainly need them T^T

apparently, i totally forgot to post this announcement yesterday, but both bl AND bt made it through round 2 of onc!! i've been in a bit of a slump over the past couple of days, but if this doesn't light a fire under my ass so i can finally finish something in time... i don't know what will >.>

hi! there's no new chapters for now, but i just wanted to give a little monthly-ish update on how things are going and what my plans for april are currently looking like, so if that's not something you're interested in, feel free to skip this yap session ^^ 
          
          first off, my biggest focus this month will - pretty obviously - be my oncs. the results of round 2 aren't out yet, but even if none of them make it, i'll still try my best to finish both (or at the very least bl) by the end of the month while the vibes and my connections with the characters are still fresh. bl has the higher priority, so in the worst case scenario, i'll sadly have to put bt aside for a couple of weeks, but let's all pray that won't happen v.v
          
          unfortunately, with oncs having the spotlight at the moment, that means that cotw and pov are getting thrown in the ditch again. i'm debating officially putting them on a hiatus for the time being, but if everything works out, i'll go back to these two in 2-3 weeks, so i'll still think about it
          
          there are a lot (and i do mean a LOT) of other things slowly cooking in the background, but i want to avoid the mistakes i've made with cotw and pov (and all the other books in the past >.>) and posting them before i have enough backlog to update consistently, so you won't be seeing anything new from me for at least a couple of months, but there are several things i'm juggling in the background. there are 2 ongoing drafts i'm writing offline, and a few others that are in various stages of pre-writing development because i've never known rest in my life and i also really like making myself suffer
