Hello again!
          
          I apologize for the slowness updating The Forest of Blades.  I hope to now be able to update more than once a month if possible.  I am committed to finishing this story, and I hope you will all enjoy the continuation of Shal's adventures in the Empire.
          
          TFOB won't be the last story set in that world, however, as I have just begun posting The Shards, a shorter tale set in the world of Iron and Wood, a thousand years earlier.  Compiled partially of writing from the scrapped story Hypothermia, The Shards tells the story of a young Amazon with a knack for eavesdropping and a wealth of secrets to uncover.  Be sure to check it out :)
