          this isn't much of an update, seeing as i can't promise anything but i thought i'd check in and let y'all know i'm alive since i kinda just did a profile overhaul. i've still been writing in the background but as it turns out, being an adult living on your own is hard and time consuming! whod'a thought?
          
          as for plans, consistency is dead and i killed it long ago HOWEVER, glitched out has been sitting about a chapter away from finished for far too long now and i want to wrap that story up, even though it's not nearly indicative of any of my current work. rather unfortunately, close to nothing on this profile besides the usurper's truth is close to my current work but i suppose that is the way of life and regardless of skill level, glitched out was my first full-length story. i think it deserves to finally be resolved so hopefully i'll get that last chapter out to you guys soon!
          
          inspired by the rambles of one mars sircantus, i kinda wanna let loose a little and post whatever i want, whenever i want. despite being socially inactive, i've been writing up a storm behind the scenes and even though a lot of it is unfinished snippets of things that may never be fleshed out, i think i just wanna post some content again. there's a lot of stuff i've had fun writing about and despite the tiny community i have here, i think it might be fun to get y'all's opinions on what to continue and what to drop. polls and voting mayhaps??

hello my 10 current followers!
          
          life update: everything's different. i've still been writing in the bg but since i want to make my stories more original, it's been very much dead from an outsider's pov for like, a year and a half. woof. def wanna change that soon but with how crazy things have been, no promises.
          
          now onto the hard stuff. 2020 was a mess of course and i thought i'd be able to pick up the pieces here in 2021 but at the end of april this year, my mom died and the situation was a mess. family drama, legal stuff, planning a service on my own, all on top of mourning the person i was closest to in the whole wide world. i will miss her and it still stings thinking about her and though i know grieving takes time, it's time i finally started moving on with my life.
          
          what that means is i wanna crack down hard on everything i considered a hobby and start creating in a way that gathers an audience. with writing, i doubt it'll happen any time soon as publishing is a b*tch so that simply means i hope to start posting weekly/biweekly updates again! in other areas of my life however, i'm bouta kill it in the best way!!!
          
          expect a story update soon but consistency never! hope your 2021 is going better than mine lol and as always, keep reading babes <3

i apologize for not posting the last couple of weeks, i've been really busy with a couple things. 
          first of all, i volunteered to be a counselor at a youth leadership camp called Youth for Freedom, which was an absolutely incredible experience that also took a lot of time and dedication. it's for youth ages 11-18 to come into themselves as leaders and teach them how to love themselves more fully. you can be a counselor at age 19 if you're interested in that side of it as well and it's something i'm personally very passionate about due to how hugely it's changed my life! if you're interested in being a part of this incredible program full of incredible people, check out youthforfreedom.org because it's something that can allow for beautiful change and growth if you choose into it.
          secondly, i'm moving up to Seattle area to live with my mom again for a bit! i'm excited and because of this big change, it's taken up some time planning and packing and making sure everything goes smoothly in that.
          i'm leaving this week and as such, i'm not sure exactly when i'll have time to write. however, after i take some time to recover emotionally from YFF and get settled in to my new home, i'll definitely be getting some chapters written. currently, i'm focusing on finally finishing Glitched Out after years of working on it before introducing a new ongoing story to my roster but we'll see how that goes (i lost the passion for writing GO a while ago but i promised myself i'd finish it for the younger me that was).

Quick lil fanfic this week, read SCP 001 the Ouroboros Proposal and went feral for a bit, though writing the fic got it out of my system real fast. Published the chapter a little early this week due to it being my friend's birthday today! When we were younger, we went to the pool together one time and a storm came rolling in as soon as we left; not super unique or enticing on its own but for some reason, the vibes were absolutely banging. On the car ride home, we made up a story, two characters named Leaf and Tio that we never did anything with. I wanted to bring that back today in honor of my friend Emily's birthday, to wish her a happy one and let her know that I care! Emily, if you're reading this, I love your guts so much!!!!! You're incredible and I'm absolutely certain that there's greatness within you already made plain to see for the whole world! Hope your day is amazing <3<3<3

lads, my computer is working again!!!!!!!! i'm not sure how this is possible since i was told the hard drive was corrupted and i'd need to buy a new one, but i wanted to put some stickers on it and decided to try turning it on only to find this miracle had occurred. i'll let you guys in on a secret, i've barely written anything since my computer broke due to my hatred of phone typing so now i can finally write comfortably again!!! dang i'm so happy about this <3
