It’s a short Gothic-Horror-Romance which I’ve been aiming to post for Halloween, but unfortunately I’m still writing it *sobs in spooky szn* but the teaser is up so please do check it out!
It’s inspired by This Place Hotel which I have always wanted use as a basis for a story. Second part should be up in the next few days. Hope you look forward to it! <3

Question for fellow authors on here - do you aim for a certain word count on a chapter? Or does it depend on the chapter and when it feels finished? Just wondering cos my ch1 is the shortest and the latest ch13 is the longest so far!
And readers - do you prefer shorter or lengthier chapters?

@conceited_nae @THEKIMPRINT I’m the same! I’m with you both on consistency. I haven’t gone too out of range from the first chapter; I tend to aim between 4k-6k but more recent updates are on the longer side. It’s so interesting how everyone has their own mojo ^_^
