the touch to her hair was enough to make her wince  ,  but she ultimately leaned into it with a whimper as her own golden gaze landed on his face  .  there was only one time she had been like this  ..  and it was a time she never wanted to share  .  
            
            in a feeble attempt to hide the pain from him  ,  the woman was sinking into the bubbly water until all that remained was from her nose and above as she stared ahead  .  she couldn’t let him see her suffering  ..  it wasn’t fair to him  .

            HIS GOLDEN eyes saddened as he saw all the markings on her beautiful , delicate body . it broke his heart more than anything else in the entire world to see her like this . how DARE they ruin her perfect body in such a way ? he was so glad they were all dead .
            
            he stroked her wet hair , letting out a soft sigh . " my dear camila . . " his voice was soft as he spoke , eyebrows furrowed together in concern and pain . " i am so sorry . "

poor camila didn’t have the energy to do anything more than lay her head on his chest and allow him to carry her  .  she was  EXHAUSTED  ,  even to the point that when the maids helped her out of the torn up and ragged dress  ,  and placed her to the warm water  ,  she didn’t argue  .  she had damian  ,  and that would keep her calm  .
            
            it wasn’t until she was cleaned off that the damage was truly shown  .  her face had scratches all over her features  ,  the same going for the rest of her bruised body  .  what was truly horrifying were the burns from the chains all over her body  ,  as well as the burn of a cross between her shoulderblades  . it was horrible  ..

            HE SMILED down at her , resting his forehead against hers for a moment . she was absolutely gorgeous . she was PERFECT . he adored her . at the sound of her words , his smile grew in size . he had always wanted to hear such a wonderful thing spill from those loving lips .
            
            " and i love you , camila . "

as much as she both didn’t need a breath  ,  or didn’t want to  ,  camila was soon parting from his lips so she could allow herself too look over his features once more  .  she couldn’t believe it  .  this was damian  .  one who she saw as her student at first  ,  but now  ..  he was nothing close to that  .  she was so proud of him  ..  and now  ,  she had him  .  she was his  ,  and he was her’s  .  oh how she adored him  .
            
            “  i love you  ,  damian  .  “

            HE NEVER wanted to let this moment end , not in a million years . and they had the time , of course . he ADORED her . she was his everything , and he couldn't wait to spend the rest of his infinite life with her . she showed him that the world wasn't as cruel as it had always been to him in his human life , and she gave him hope . she gave him light . she was the light in his dark world . he tried not to ruin the kiss by smiling into it , resting one hand on the small of her back . she was so precious to him , far more precious than any jewel that could be found anywhere .

            HIS EYES scanned the area as he explored , his fingers gently grazing a candelabra as he passed by it . everything was so ornate and gorgeous . . his old master's home had been similar to this , but he had never been allowed inside . he was just to do his work in the stables and he was allowed sleep inside there with the horses . he had always been treated like such an ANIMAL , it was all he knew .

luckily  ,  after camila had dismissed herself off to her chambers  ,  all that were left were a few maids and butlers from time to time  ,  but a good number of them had already gone home for the evening  .  as for the house itself  ,  it was a two story with a grand staircase  .  there was a libary  ,  multiple rooms and bathrooms  ,  as well as a study  .

            HE HUMMED as he listened to her , watching her get up to leave . she was so beautiful and kind . . he could get used to this . living in a place as gorgeous as this . . it seemed wonderful . he adored her already .
            
            he slowly got up and moved to go explore , hoping not to get in anyone's way . he just figured he should be exploring the place he was going to be living in . it was so massive . .

            one of my newborns needed simple aid , that was all . she promised not to cause any chaos , and i'm holding her to that .

            of course we do . we just tend to keep quiet . . humans tend to FREAK OUT whenever they discover something supernatural .

            it certainly wouldn't have , * he agreed , his hands folded behind his back as he scanned the room . he then gently started to sift through their things , humming to himself * how can i find it if i don't even know what i'm looking for ?

you do  .  *  she hummed  ,  wandering after him as she folded her hands behind her back  .  *  i was half tempted to hide it somewhere else in the castle  ,  but it wouldn’t have been fair  .
