About the Relationship Between Noel and Haniel
Some readers may know that, a long time ago, Shapley accidentally caused the death of Haniel, who was not yet an angel at the time, in an unfortunate incident. This caused God to personally intervene and reconstruct Haniel’s physical body.
After being remade, Haniel gained the identity of an angel, but her memories and age had completely reverted to the very beginning. Shapley had no complaints about this, but unfortunately, he was really not someone suited to looking after a child.
So, when Michael and Lucifer went to visit the siblings and discovered that Shapley didn’t even know how to feed Haniel, they were deeply concerned.
The two sisters reported the situation to Father, who also felt that a single older man really wasn’t the best caretaker for a little girl.
As a result, Haniel was officially handed over to the care of the angel family, with Sariel (the sixth sister) and the youngest, Noel, primarily responsible for looking after her.
At that time, Noel felt very lonely because both Claire and Engel had been reincarnated into human(more details in my first fanfic), so Haniel’s arrival saved her from that loneliness.
To Haniel, Noel was both like an older sister and a guide. Haniel depended on Noel greatly and, as a child, would often act spoiled or cute with her.
Mostly Haniel was especially well-behaved and lovable, so Noel doted on her deeply.
That’s why, compared to Shapley, the relationship between Noel and Haniel is even more like sisters and family.
