@nolongermystic it's been going well! i'm close to finishing off hitting the five chapter mark as i've mostly been spending time trying to figure out the exact setting and how i want to worldbuild it. its decently solid now (i'll probably realize several errors after finishing the entirety of the first draft) but otherwise i'm happy and confident with what i have.

            Oh MY LORD. I ALWAYS STAYED AWAY FROM CANDLES FOR SOME REASON. I THINK BECAUSE I ONCE TOUCHED THE CANDLE WAX IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT BURNED OUT. IT HURT MY FINGERS SO I KEPT MY DISTANCE XD

            that's still much worse then what happened to me...well actually there was ONE incident that was kinda similar (not really) BUT I STILL HAVE THE MARK TO PROVE IT!
            
            though...it isn't some badass burn scar or anything...its literately this small skin bumb on my chest XD
            
            i think (don't remember...was to young) what happened was during one of my birthdays, when i leaned in to blow out some candles one of the burned my chest (i could be confusing this with another burn scar on my neck though, which has completely faded away so unlike the one on my chest i don't have any proof) but...yeah. that's that.
