Not sure if this is the right place to put this, (or if you'll see this) since the Wattpad UI is a bit confusing.
Could I please have your permission to post my Manic Street Preachers fan story, which is inspired by yours, on Wattpad?
See, my friend and I read your three part MSP fan story starring the character Nadia, and we really enjoyed it! I thought that it was greatly written, I loved the style of your writing. It was so personal and deep-cutting.
But I actually liked your fan story so much, that I thought it would be interesting to write my own set in that universe. Currently, I've posted the first few chapters on Wattpad but they don't explicitly mention anything to do with your stories yet.
The story itself is set after the first of your stories, where the characters deal with the effects of Nadia's (dis)appearance and the drama that ensues with that. I figured since it was sparked by and is related to a Wattpad story, I'd like to post it on Wattpad
The writing itself is completely original. I have not and will not copy and paste anything from the original stories, and will try to avoid any literary inspiration beyond plot (though I think the phrase 'like it owed him money' is burned into my head forever now lol).
Also, I've already put a link to Faceless Sense of Void in the description of my story (which is titled I Live to Fall Asleep) but if you need any more credit/terms for me to be allowed to post it I'm happy to negotiate an agreement.
In conclusion, since fan fic of fan fic is a bit of a grey area, I'd really appreciate your permission.
