Looking for meaningful feedback on your story?

Join The Reading Nook Book Club, a community built for writers who want more than just votes and quick reactions.

One of the things that makes TRN different is our pod system.

Instead of having different readers every cycle, members are assigned to small pods that stay together long-term. This means the same group of readers follows your story over time, allowing them to become familiar with your characters, plot, writing style, and overall story direction.

As they continue reading your book, their feedback becomes deeper, more insightful, and more valuable with every cycle.

Rather than collecting random reviews from different readers each week, you'll receive reflections and feedback from people who are genuinely following your story's journey.

          	Chapter reflections
          	Overall reviews
          	Thoughtful discussions
          	Supportive writer-to-writer feedback

Our goal is not simply to finish reading tasks.

Our goal is to build a reading community where stories are truly understood, supported, and appreciated as they grow.

I have questions about giving the ratings to those writers giving feedback, what if they did not give chapter reflections on the featured story's comment section but they give their overall feedback in the book club before the deadline, will I score it 0/3 even though he/she commented in the story as part of his/her task from the other book club or I will not give him/her a rating?

nookkeeper

It’s okay. You may not give ratings to the late reviews. It’s the admin’s prerogative to still give rating wvwn to the late reviews as the admin was the one who give ratinga last.

@nookkeeper late nang nagbigay ng feedback si CapriceKiara. Si nieldanlovelywriter kulang ng chapter reflection, kaya si BlueLyrah lang yung binigyan ko ng score

          “Where Stories Are Truly Seen.”

Why The Reading Nook Is Different?

When I created The Reading Nook, I didn't want to create just another book club.

There are already many book clubs where members read chapters, leave a few inline comments, complete their tasks, and move on to the next assignment.

While there's nothing wrong with that, I wanted something more.

I wanted a space where writers could discover not only what readers noticed, but also what readers genuinely felt.

Did a scene make them emotional?

Did they understand the character's decision?

Did a certain moment confuse them?

Did they connect with the story?

Did they notice something about the characters that the author didn't even realize was coming across on the page?

These are the kinds of insights that help stories grow.

At The Reading Nook, inline comments are welcome, but they are not the heart of our book club.

The heart of TRN is thoughtful reflection.

Every chapter invites readers to share:
           what scene affected them most
what they noticed about the characters
whether they agreed with a character's choices
           what confused them
and what questions they would like to ask the author

If that sounds like the kind of book club you've been looking for, we'd love to welcome you into our little reading nook.
