This is about politics.
Ok. I think you can't make a revolution that stay in place and time without reforms.
I mean. Reforms won't change the roots of our society because you work with a dysfunctional system and patching some things won't resolve the base.
It's like programmation; if you have bugs, you can patch them, but if you have a wrong code base or definitions, you'll have to redo it.
But. Reforms make things more acceptable. If it comes into place and stay there, people learn to deal with it even if they're against it. And if they see it's bringing positive outcomes, if it does nothing to them, they tend to ignore it.
Thing is, if we do reforms and people tolerate them, then a revolution will be easier and more tolerated than if we just do it. If people understand where the problem is and see that making the problem less of a problem, they'll agree more easily to a revolution.
And it'll stay more easily in place.
Just a thought. No data, no research, nothing. Just a discussion with a friend who made me the revolutionist and anarchist that I am.
Remember, if they divide us, they'll win. We have to work together, not against each others.
Stay safe, keep fighting.
