hey everyone! long time no see.

disclaimer: i wasn’t planning on continuing to update New York Soul after chapter 7, because i kind of fell out of the marvel fandom and didn’t have inspiration really anymore. but i discovered this last chapter that i had in my notes that i never posted, and i was like ‘what the heck’ and decided to post it. this is in no way the final chapter, but i feel like it is a better way to end the story than the cliffhanger that was the last chapter, haha.

thank you for reading my story and sticking with me!! i hope you enjoyed

hey friends ive gotten several comments on new york soul that say peter’s reactions are too harsh and unrealistic, but obviously if u are commenting that u have never experienced the loss of someone close to u. ive taken examples of my own life and of my friends lives for this fic and for peter. just consider being in his shoes before saying its unrealistic. thank u

[spoilers] here is the tea: peter is literally and truly alone except for tony and pepper i guess but he hasnt bonded with them like he had bonded with may and ben. ofc losing may after losing ben is going to hurt peter. he is going thru the stages of grief. he is going to be sad and angry and empty for a while, bc, although i have never experienced losing every member of my family, PETER HAS. he is grieving. thanks.
