Kpop genuinely needs a safer atmosphere when it comes to discussing/critiquing music. Like, why can I not express my feelings towards a new album without the risk of a thousand people coming for my neck if I say something they don’t like, or why are you calling me “tasteless” or “your taste is trash” for liking something not everyone does? It’s not that deep unless you actively choose to hate and belittle someone for the music they put out. I’m not saying this cuz of just one or two particular artists, I’m saying this for Kpop artists as a whole. Anyways thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

@btch_for_yeosang THIS. Yes, I totally agree! Also if someone says ‘oh i stan () grp but i didnt rlly like this song’ and the whole fandom just starts accusing them of being a fake fan. Or when someone can NOT compliment their idol without bringing down another one. For example: ‘omg *idol name* looked so good at todays event, unlike *bandmate name*, they looked so bad’. Like, we can compliment them without that last bit.
