Update! Greetings all! The latest chapter of Birth of Legends has been posted. The chapter, entitled Milk Run, follows the plucky Alliance Senator, Kendrix Vincent and her simple journey to the Antilla Star System. 
          
          Easy peasy? But of course not.

Oh man.... let me start by apologizing for the delay in updates. Life and work and more life took over for a while. But I'm happy to announce that in that time, I've been able to get some work done. As such.... a new chapter of Birth of Legends has been posted. 
          
          Catch up with the cadets of Alpha Squadron as they resume life at the academy. Learn more about them -- what they do with their free time, who they hang out with, and, in a way, what makes them tick.

Update 4.26.19. And we are back to our regularly scheduled programming. Birth of Legends Chapter 8 is live. 
          
          Though the Battle for Skyline is over, there are a number of parties interested in what's going on in Antilla. Enjoy a visit to the Alliance homeworld of Terra and sit in on an emergency session where the Alliance leaders plan their opening moves for what will be a chess match unlike any they have ever faced.

Update 4.19.19 So I was unable to post last week -- life and things -- but I'm back on schedule with an update this week. Birth of Legends Chapter 7: Sundown has been posted finally. 
          
          With the Battle for Skyline over, the personal and political fallout looms over the heads of the young pilots of Alpha Squadron and their unlikely allies in Defiant Squadron.  Now they must venture into a realm of political agendas and machinations. But first, they must accept their failure and what it truly means. 
          
          As always, give a look, a favorite and dont' hesitate to leave a comment. I do have thick skin, after all. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and will be returned in kind.

Update: 4.2.19 I know I'm a few days announcing this BUT Birth of Legends Chapter 5 (Into the Black) has been posted. 
          
          The Patriots, now aware of the secret Alliance Research Station Skyline, are preparing their assault.  Gonzo, having realized the horror of Project Nova first hand, must come to terms with his experience. What will he do next? Will Gonzo and his Defiant Squadron be able to stand up to what's coming? Or will the man who makes the impossible possible finally taste defeat? 
          
          The Battle for Skyline begins here. Strap in and hang on.

Update: 3.23.19 Birth of Legends Chapter 4 - Nova has been posted. 
          
          This chapter brings multi-configuration fighters (think Macross) into the mix and we finally get to meet the enigmatic leader of the Patriots.  The hot-shot pilot from the prologue makes his return. What are the Patriots up to? What is the mysterious Project Nova? What kind of trouble will Gonzo Antreya find himself into next?
          
          Only one way to find out.

Update: 3.17.19
          
          Birth of Legends Chapter 3 was published yesterday. Huzzah! The chapter, entitled Greetings and Simulations introduces a new cadet to the fold. Will this newcomer fit in with Antes and the others? Or does this new arrival come with ill foreboding? Give it a click through to find out!
          
          Also, not sure if this is the place for this BUT Birth of Legends has climbed near the top of some rankings. 
          
          Currently, she sits at #4 in Spacebattles, #4 in spacewar, #6 in cadets, and #1 in fighterpilots (I'm really stoked about this one, even though there are only 13 other stories ranked here), so thanks to those who have given Birth of Legends a read and a vote or two! 
          
          As always, please have a look and don't be shy about dropping me a line with thoughts, ideas and/or pointing out errors, content-wise or grammatically!

Update: 3.6.19
          
          So I've been in the lab cranking away on Birth of Legends. What was originally one chapter ended up being greatly expanded into two.... as such, an early update! 
          
          I will be updating again on Saturday, and will aim to post weekly from there. Unless a chapter somehow grows too large for that schedule.

          Hi everyone, I've finally gotten around to posting again... this time it is the long-gestating first book in a trilogy entitled Antilla: Birth of Legends. It is a space opera tale that follows a squadron of trainee pilots as they embark on a journey from the humblest beginnings to seasoned combat pilots ready to put it all on the line for the common good. 
          
          Please take a look and don't be afraid to leave any words, kind or otherwise.
