Sometimes I wish I was a Scottish maiden, running through the rolling hills and verdant highlands and falling in love with a gentle redhead.
Sometimes I wish I was a French artist, doodling in a little sketchbook in a café smelling of freshly buttered croissants.
Sometimes I wish I was a Broadway actress, bringing my audience to tears over a well delivered monologue.
Sometimes I wish to be everything that I'm not, and that's why I write.
I write to be the people I can never become, to travel the world in one sitting and to live a million lives at once.
I write to escape reality.
