Book Review: I Sold Myself to the Devil For Vinyls, Pitiful I Know
Yeah that titles a mouthful.
This book is just amazing. I could go on and on about this book but I try to keep it short.
It was written in 2009 so it has a bit of an older vibe to it, but still incredible. There are two versions of this book - the original and the edited version. the edited version doesn’t have the original comments and feel of the original, but the original has many grammar mistakes. I reckoned trying to read the original and if the grammar is too annoying for you read the edited version.
The dynamic seems to be simple- bad boy and good girl. Although, this book will surprise you with those common stereotypes.
It is a VERY slow burn, i’m warning you, but worth it. The love story has so much depth.
However, my favorite part of this story is that the whole 100 chapter book is rewritten all in the lead male, Blake’s, pov. Reading Blakes pov adds so much and it’s just incredible. DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT read any of blake’s pov until you ah e COMPLETELY finished the first book. Even if you think you really want to, don’t ruin it for yourself. Overall, this is a long book but i’d recommend. Such a goodie and i will be reading it again and again.
Overall Rating: 96/100
