it was another, horrible, awful, tiring work day. dae-ji was exhausted and cranky because of the incompetence of his coworkers. everyone seems to be clueless while he tries to focus on his own work. at this point, he was pretty much a glorified babysitter who cleans up the mess his coworkers create. the migraine he woke up with didn’t help either. 
          
          dae-ji sighed as he pushed the library doors open. the library near the office was small but homey. it had necessary research material for the next project. he walked in and immediately headed for the section that held the books he needed. the faster he found them and checked them out, the faster he could get home and sleep. 
          
          after finding all the books he needed, dae-ji handed them to the librarian at the front desk. ❝ could you check these out ? make it quick , ❞ he said in a rude tone. he was known to be snappy and aloof to many.

            malachi   handed   him   a   sticky   note   so   he   could   write   down   his   address,     then   he   shook   his   head   at   the   question,          '      no,     i   don’t   have   any   allergies   nor   preferences,     i   eat   practically   anything.     '            just   as   he   thought   that   dae-ji   didn’t   see   him   blush   and   that   he   was   in   the   clear,    he   brought   it   up.            '     shut   up,      i   usually   don’t   receive   compliments   from   people   so   that’s   why..     '           his   face   heated   up   a   bit  more   after   dae-ji   brought   it   up   and   said   that   he   should   compliment   him   more    and   looked   down.

            dae-ji smiled in satisfaction. ❝ alright , i can write it down for you somewhere . do you have any allergies or preferences on n what food you eat ? ❞ he asked . he wondered how much overtime he should do in order to have enough time to prepare and shop. the small blush wasn’t unnoticed by him. ❝ oh ? is that a blush from my words ? guess i should compliment you more . ~ ❞

            malachi   smiled   at   him   and   as   soon   as   dae-ji   leaned   close   to   him   his   eyes   widened   and   blinked   in   confusion   as   to   why   he   was   so   close.     he   didn’t   receive   compliments   often   so   his   cheeks   heated   up   slightly   as   in   to   response   of   what   dae-ji   was   saying.     the   offer   about   coming   over   to   his   house   seemed   tempting   and   really    wanted   to   go   so   he   nodded,           '     that   sounds   lovely,     i’ll   come   over   since   i’m   available   this   weekend.      but   you’re   going   to   have   to   give   me   your   address   so   i   can   get    to   your   house.     '
