Mice On Venus seems like the type of song to play right after a major character sacrifices themself and everyone is sad, but they quickly realize that not all is lost
Like,, the sad tone it starts off with that quickly gets louder and more intense is like when the character sacrifices themself, but it feels happy in a way. Like, it's sad, yes, but there's a bit of joy left. Hence why people start realizing not all is lost. But the song eventually slows to stop as the mc comes to term with what happened, only for the song to pick up again with more magic and joy and thats when the mc realizes that they didn't lose their closest companion or even the love of their life. Then, they see that their love is forever with them and all of the characters gather together, hence the intense music. Its when everyone comes together, just like how the character would've wanted. And as the mc stares off into the distance, remembering their love, the music slows and goes back to the original beat as they reminisce on what happened. Last but not least, as the mc runs off to join their friends, with tears pricking in their eyes, the songs goes back to that happy tune

Oh also, this song reminds me of Inside Out and I have not forgiven Disney for killing Bing Bong. His death broke my little child heart and I have yet to heal from it -Connie
