Okayyy, so the new chapter is out. It isn't as long as I would've liked. I hope you don't think it sucks. Just finals are in the way and it might not be the best but I like it. Sorry, y'all had to wait a loooong time.

That chapter was great! To be honest, I’m not a fan of sad, or depressing endings, so If that was your ending, it’s not MY type of book, but that doesn’t make it bad. I really loved the depth you gave, and your choices in structure were wonderful, I know that is just the intro, but I would make the following chapters longer.  The concepts of color/shade(e.g. black, white, grey) and perspectives(the section mentioning bystanders and understanding) are both things that could be great to carry on through the story, to help keep that sense of depth and symbolism.

@xxRIDEOUTxx  Thank you so much! Honestly, "sad" endings aren't my type either, i hate reading them. I, personally like the more positive note ending books. This is the first of a duology, this one may seem like it has "sad" for an ending. But imo, I think the ending of THIS book is more about her, Sloane, and the progress she makes throughout the book. The second book that follows this one  will be more so about her relationship with Jay.  I would love for you to continue reading, I promise you won't regret it! It's not a "Me Before You" type of book or "The Fault In Our Stars",  I swear.  And if you do continue reading, I hope you will love Jay Cole and Sloane Jones as much as I do, these little people in my head.
