I’m upset. The new Billy the Kid show on Epix has NO fanfics. I’ve never come across something like this before. The actor that plays him is literally going to be in the hunger games prequel?? Tom Blyth this is a sin that’s occurred and I’m so sorry

@nowadays_ Aww, you're too kind. I've been a huge western historical fiction fan since I was a kid. I try and research as much as possible to make things as accurate as possible in my stories, while also following the movie/show/game story as best I can. Tom Blyth is a phenomenal actor. He portrays Billy really well. As far as accuracy, I'm not entirely sure where the show runners are when it comes to rights and whatnot. There are some things I have noticed that aren't entirely accurate, but I get it's a movie and they're also trying to appeal to the viewer. And again, I don't know what rights they have to uphold. Billy's story is a hard one because there's so much controversy and legality behind his name. The state of New Mexico practically owns him. Anyway, I could go on and on, like I said, it's a passion. But, I do appreciate all your votes and that you love my Young Guns story. If I get the chance to write an Epix Billy fic I'll be sure to try and tag you for it. ❤️

@Literarydragon Tom Blyth really was incredible in the series. Plus the way the show runners attempted to make events historically accurate (the best they could anyway) was refreshing. If you do write one know I'll be amongst one of the first voters! You're work truly is amazing and thanks for choosing to write about Billy

@nowadays_ Saw this and had to comment. I agree with you. It is a tragedy. I want to write one myself, but I probably won't until my current fic is done. It's hard writing my current fic and not thinking of Tom Blyth as Billy now. He fits the role so perfectly. ❤️ It saddens me that there aren't more stories about Billy the Kid, period.
