I love Lisa, no I really do. But I can't defend that world cup song. 'Goals' was so random. The world cup is about unity and perseverance. That song was very... questionable for the world cup. Not everything has to be about money and fame. Side note, but although I already loved 'Dreamers' by Jungkook. I love it even more now. Football fans ( usually from what I have seen ) are already sceptical of kpop. This just gave them all the more reasons to continue their hate train.
@numberonesss Litrallyyy. The only thing I got from her album was the corny comments from each 'alter' ego XD. I never heard any of her songs trending, and the one that did was a collab, which only lasted a week on TikTok and never made it to Insta (which is lwk a bad sign) The general public has been bullying her, and her fans are just helping her get bullied further... Rosie and Jennie made a pretty big bang on the western side of music. Jisoo did really well in Korea (and I think she lwk prefers to keep most of her fame in Korea. I don't get why her fans feel sorry for her all the time.) Lisa, everyone sees as a laughing stock other than Thailand...
@roses_are_poses No, I agree. Lisa doesn't know what her style truly is! The first album is supposed to define the direction your music career is going to go in. Instead of making that clear. They decided to drop 'alter ego'. With like what 5 alter egos? I'm not even sure at this point. Tbh the music was almost the same throughout the album, so i don't remember half of the alter egos. Though I do remember 'Vixi' for the corny introduction they gave for her. 'My lashes came to slay, so get out of my way.' and 'Your tears.' for her favourite drink? I cannot. Whoever is branding lisa, needs to be fired cause what? And while we're at it, a new lyricist as well please. Lisa has so much potential, it's sad to see it get ruined.
@numberonesss Exactly my point... Lisa IS pretty. She IS body goals, and yeah, she IS rich. But why does she make it her whole personality? She won't ever grow as an artist if her fans don't call her out, & her company won't do shi about anything either, as long as her fans are deluded. I lwk feel like she could be way cooler if she dropped the corny. For example, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosie all took their aesthetics and flew with it & they built up an image. I don't think Lisa even knows what her vibe/ aethetic is... (This turned into a rant, but I actually think she could be sm more. I just hate her fanbase.)

But I was just wondering about the future of BLACKPINK idrk why. I have a really strong feeling that this might be their last year together. Don't get me wrong, I know they're thriving individually and I wish them nothing but success. But again, it does hurt to...see them go in a way? They're the first group I've ever stanned properly, and there is no replacement.
This might sound cliché, but as soon as BTS and BLACKPINK disband, I will most probably take my leave from kpop along with them.
@kookedpasta samee! This generation of kpop is not for me as well. It's even harder to admit but as a blink you do get mistreated. No comebacks for years and then this year when they finally came back, no promotions, no interviews. It didn't feel like a celebration. It felt more forced? It's almost been 10 years of them and I still feel they've not lived up to their full potential. The girls still have so much to show! I'm ranting atp but I'm really frustrated with how much BLACKPINK has lost because of their stupid company.
Yeahhh, just the thought of it makes me cry and breakdown too huhu. I can’t see myself stanning another bg/gg in the future, and unfortunately I don’t think I have interests in this generation’s kpop groups. Well, hard to admit but maybe that would be the end of my kpop fan era too. *sigh
