I've been beaten and I've been broken; I survived. I put myself back together, though I'll never be the same again. Experiences change you, but they don't have to be the end of you. I am not the sum total of my mistakes and things that have happened to me. Today, I can honestly say I'm better having been through what I have.

I'm not a judgemental person. I don't care who you are or what you do - if it doesn't affect me, then you'll have someone much more important (depending on who/what you believe in) to answer to one day. I'm not talking about violent crimes - they definitely deserve what they get - I'm talking about all the other little things things that people use religion to condemn.

My list of what books and music I love is MUCH shorter than what I do. I'll read almost anything (especially the classics), but if someone so much as mentions Twilight, I lose it. That is not literature; it's a bored housewife's erotic dream that no one else should be party to. And Bieber - do not get me started. I still believe he's really twelve years old. And One Direction - dear GOD! Although, to be fair, I think that particular dislike comes from my sisters' idol-worshipping them.

@alicev: Sorry this is sooo late! I'm an econometrics major and the course work and tests are slowly crushing me right now, and I really didn't wanna sit down and read much while I was taking a break...
