01. Listen to an upbeat song/s, that's what gets me going.
02. Break it down into smaller steps, like write 150-300 words then do the same thing around 30 minutes later—something like that. It will make it seem easier, or make writing the chapter go a lot faster.
03. Plan ahead, or write out your ideas. Usually I write what randomly comes to mind, like 'it would be cool to write this' so I write it. Same with my artistic side, when I think of what to draw I immediately go to my drawing app or use a notebook and pencil to draw what I thought of; and enjoy it even if it looked bad or not how I imagined it.
05. Remember your power and potential.
06. Tidy up, I tend to find it hard to be motivated when things are all messed up. Whether it's in real life (messy bedroom, etc.) or something I wrote that looks messy and unorganized. As someone once said, “Tidy space, tidy mind, ”
07. Eliminate distractions. I often bite my nails, which distracts me from writing. So, to stop biting my nails I give myself a reward for not doing it or put soap on my nails.
08. Ask why you're doing it, and what you're getting out of it. Would you feel good in the end? Are you enjoying it?
09. Reflect on how far you have come.
10. Imagine your future if you don't motivate yourself.
11. Take small breaks.
