i’ve decided to take down the current version of "Caught by The Devil" and rewrite it from the beginning.
i know this might be disappointing, especially for those of you who have been following, commenting, voting, and waiting for new chapters, and i’m genuinely so sorry. this wasn’t an easy decision, but i’m just not happy with the way i wrote the story anymore.
this fic was originally adapted from something i wrote almost a year ago, and i’m simply not the same writer i was back then. my writing has improved, my understanding of the characters has changed, and i’ve come up with so many new ideas that i feel like this story deserves another chance.
when i first started publishing it, i mainly wanted to challenge myself and see if i could write a full story in English. i was also so excited to keep publishing that i rushed it more than i should have. later, when more of you started following the story, i didn’t want to take everything down and disappoint you, so i kept going even though i already knew there were things i would do differently.
but now i think it’s better to take a step back and do it properly.
i want to develop the characters more, expand the plot, explore situations and relationships i skipped before, and rewrite the story in third person so i can show things from other characters’ perspectives too.
and just so you know.. i heard your Moon-gi prayers. 👀
i don’t know exactly how long the rewrite will take because this time, i really don’t want to rush it. but i promise i’m not abandoning the story — i’m going back to the beginning because i want to make it better.
and to everyone who read the original version: thank you. for every vote, comment, theory, reaction, and even for silently following along. i noticed more than you probably realize, and i’m incredibly grateful.
i hope some of you will come back when the new version is ready. this time, i want to do it right. ♡
