“fire manipulation?” he’d repeat, almost in surprise. his eyes glanced around the room then back onto the small screen, following mario as he jumped over a mushroom, his eyes sort of softened as a wave nostalgia fell over him. “yeah… but it was on a DSI,” was owning a DSI uncool? masashi didn’t know… nor did he really question himself on it because for all he knew the DSI && the device the gamer was currently playing on now were all the same in his eyes. “you’re good,” he stated.

“you’re a cat,” he stated, attention fully resting on the gamer. it was almost like the rest of their class just wasn’t there— or maybe it was because he didn’t \care\ if they were there or not. what he did say was kind of stupid, even masashi realized that so he rephrased himself. “your cursed technique, in what way is it useful?” he didn’t mean to sound arrogant, that much was noticeable as he leaned forward a bit to observe haruka play whatever game he was playing. “is that mario?”
